Licensing and Pricing

Q. Does the cost of the software depend on number of users using it?

A. No. The yearly license fee remains the same regardless of the numbers of people using it. Please click here to view the different rate plans available.

Q. What will happen if my software license expires?

A. You can still access all the features in the software. You can view and export all the data entered into the software. You will not be able to enter new data or update the information in the software. The software will not download any new functionality upgrades. You can renew the license anytime and resume the normal usage of the software.

Q. What modes of payment do you accept?

A. We accept credit card, money order and check.

Q. What is the cost of the software?

A. Please click here to view the dfferent rate plans available. This is the one year license fee. The software has to be renewed on yearly basis.

Q. What is your return policy?

A. If you don’t wish to use the software, please let us know within three business days from the date the software was purchased. We will refund the charges.

Q. If you add new features to the software, do I have to pay to get these features?

A. No. There is no additional cost for any new features added. We welcome your ideas.

Q. Does the cost of the software depend on the number of computers I have in my office network?

Q. Why does my license have an expiration date?

A. The license validity is usually for a year. So it will be due to expire one year from day of registration. You can always extend the validity period before expiration date.

Customer Support – Questions, Issues, New feature ideas

Q. Does the SMS go to any mobile user? Are there any restrictions?

A. We support all the major SMS service providers. The list we support is provided under the Email and SMS section of the software. If you feel there is some service provider we have missed out, please do let us know and we will add that provider to our list as well.

Q. Where can I get the list of features available in the software?

A. You can get the complete list of our features from the FEATURES tab in the top menu of our website (ww.trxsoftware.com).

Q. Is there any restriction on the number of emails and text messages I can send out from the software?

A. Yes. There is a daily limit. We try to keep increasing this number. The latest number is provided under the Email and SMS section of the software.

Q. I want to test ride your software. How can I do this?

A. We have the demo version online. Please register and try the online demo.

Q. My eCabinet drive is running out of space, how can I overcome this?

A. You need to increase your computer memory. Let’s say you mount a new drive for the additional memory. Then you can go into the software and configure the path where the eCabinet documents are being saved and change it to the new drive. The software will then save the eCabinet documents into the new drive.

Q. I have new functionality ideas/questions/issues. What do I do?

A. Go to our website (ww.trxsoftware.com) and click on the “Contact Us” link. Please fill out the Contact Us form. We will promptly respond to your queries.

Q. I want to view my appointments in the software from my pda or phone. Can I do this?

A. Yes, you can view your appointments, contacts and messages from your PDA and cell phone. This can be configured from the software.

Networking and Data

Q. Is the data in the software available online? Or is it only in my network?

A. The data is only in your computer network. Some information such an appointments schedule, contacts list, new messages, etc can be made available online if you choose to. In this case this information would be saved onto our servers in secure encrypted format and will be accessible to you via a password protected link

Q. I have a network in my office. Does the software work in a network setup? How?

A. Yes, the software works in a network setup. After you install your software on your server, the software will publish a URL. You can access the software by opening the URL from the browser in any computer within your network.

Q. Are there any backups taken for the data in the software?

A. There data is saved on the computer where the software is installed and there are no backups taken by us. For those who have the online version; data backups will be taken. The online version of the software is not ready yet.

Q. Where is the data in the software saved?

A. The data is saved into the computer where the software is installed. So the data is securely within your computer network and is not accessible from outside the network.

Installation, Uninstalling, Re-installation

Q. How do I get the installer for the software? Will I get a CD?

A. You will have to download the installer online. When you purchase the software, we will send you an email which will have the link from where you can download the installer.

Q. I have already installed and registered the software. I need to install the software on a different computer. Can I do this?

A. You can do this. If you wish to use the same license key again, the previously installed software instance will not work anymore. The data saved into that previous instance will no longer be accessible. Only the new installation will be accessible from the network.

Q. Can I uninstall the software?

A. Yes, you can uninstall the software. All the data of the software will be lost if you uninstall.
